Warranty and Return Policy

Thank you for purchasing Snowbot product. We hope you love your purchases. But if you’re not satisfied with our product, we are always here to provide you with a satisfactory solution.

Warranty Period & Policy

We provide warranty services and official customer support for new and certified products purchased from our official website and crowdfunding platform. The warranty services include:

√ 1-month free returns.
√ 1-year limited free warranty repairs.

However, free warranty services are not available if:
1. The product is purchased from unauthorized distributors or resellers.
2. The product is mishandled or improperly used.
3. You abuse firmware update without the authorized technician’s guidance.
4. The products is damaged due to improper working environment or operation, such as improper temperature, using wrong power adapter, and so on.
5. You cannot provide proof of authorized purchases.

If Snowbot product malfunctions due to user disassembly and repair, it is not covered by our warranty but we are happy to provide on-going technical guidance.

Return and Refund Policy

Your satisfaction is our first priority. If the product did not meet your expectations or was defective, you can refer to the following policies to request for a refund, exchange, or repair in terms of your situation.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Refund request must be sent within 30 days (from the date you received the product) with the receipt or other proof of purchase.

The product for refund:
1. Must be in the original manufacturers packaging, and shipped securely.
2. Must be complete with all the accessories, documentations, and standard certification labels originally.
3. Will be inspected for quality when received and a decision will be made whether the inspection criteria are met.

How to Return

To request a return, you can contact us at support@thesnowbot.com. We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. And you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Note: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

About Order Cancellation

Normally the orders that are under processing, being on hold or have been shipped out cannot be cancelled. If you have to refuse delivery after the package is dispatched due to force majeure, you should pay for the original shipping charges, which will be deducted from your refund.


The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Privileges of Snowbot S1 Users

Since Snowbot S1 is being in public test, it is not bounded by the policies above. If you bought Snowbot S1 for test (with a cost price), you are our valuable friend. You don’t need to worry about the refund or exchanges because we will send you an upgrade machine for free in winter, 2022. And we will be responsible for any reasonable problems of Snowbot S1, including but not limited to offering professional repair, offering technical guidance, and any other available solutions that can help you.

If you find any problems occurred on Snowbot S1, please feel free to tell us. Your feedback is quite important to us since it will accelerate the development of Snowbot S1 Pro.

If you bought the unwanted product and want your money back instead of getting an update machine at all events, please be considerate to bear the shipping fees. “Unwanted Product” means the product that does not meet your satisfaction or does not apply to your application, but was not defective.
